1. Chamari Athapaththu – 119* vs Malaysia Women (2024)
Chamari Athapaththu holds the record for the highest individual score by a Sri Lanka Women batter in WT20Is after making an unbeaten 119 against Malaysia during the 2024 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup.
The experienced captain took control from the beginning, combining fearless strokeplay with excellent timing. She attacked all areas of the ground, completed her century in commanding fashion and remained unbeaten through the end of the innings.
Her exceptional performance helped Sri Lanka secure a huge 144-run victory, one of the largest winning margins in the tournament. It was Athapaththu’s fourth WT20I hundred and further established her among the leading batters in women’s cricket.
The innings remains one of the finest batting displays produced by a Sri Lankan woman in the format.
2. Imesha Dulani – 101* vs Pakistan Women (2026)
Imesha Dulani became only the second Sri Lankan woman to score a WT20I century when she struck an unbeaten 101 against Pakistan during their 2026 tour of Sri Lanka.
Faced with a difficult chase, Dulani displayed composure and maturity throughout her innings. She rotated the strike effectively, remained calm as the pressure increased and punished loose deliveries whenever opportunities appeared.
Her unbeaten hundred carried Sri Lanka to an impressive six-wicket victory with one over remaining.
The performance demonstrated Dulani’s ability to handle demanding situations and suggested she could develop into one of Sri Lanka’s leading batters. It was a landmark innings that announced her arrival on the international stage.
3. Harshitha Samarawickrama – 86* vs Ireland Women (2024)
Harshitha Samarawickrama sits third on the list following her unbeaten 86 against Ireland during Sri Lanka Women’s tour in 2024.
The left-hander controlled the chase through patience, intelligent shot selection and regular boundaries. She kept the required rate under control from the beginning and remained at the crease until victory was secured.
Her innings guided Sri Lanka to a comfortable seven-wicket win with plenty of deliveries left.
The knock highlighted Samarawickrama’s ability to manage run chases and perform in pressure situations, reinforcing her reputation as one of Sri Lanka’s most reliable top-order batters in T20 cricket.
4. Vishmi Gunaratne – 73* vs Uganda Women (2024)
Vishmi Gunaratne delivered one of the strongest performances of her young international career with an unbeaten 73 against Uganda in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2024.
The opener batted with patience and assurance, building Sri Lanka’s innings steadily. She combined intelligent running between the wickets with well-timed boundaries and prevented the bowlers from establishing control.
Her unbeaten contribution helped Sri Lanka complete a comfortable 67-run victory.
The innings underlined Gunaratne’s increasing importance to the side and demonstrated impressive maturity for a young batter. It also strengthened her standing as one of Sri Lanka’s brightest prospects for the future.
5. Hasini Perera – 65 vs India Women (2025)
Hasini Perera completes the top five after scoring 65 against India during Sri Lanka Women’s tour in 2025.
Up against one of the strongest bowling attacks in women’s cricket, Perera batted with confidence and determination. She attacked when scoring opportunities emerged while maintaining control against high-quality opposition.
Her battling innings kept Sri Lanka competitive in the chase, although the team eventually suffered a 30-run defeat.
The performance showcased Perera’s experience, composure and ability to deliver against leading international sides. It remains one of the best individual WT20I innings by a Sri Lankan batter against India.
