The Women’s Hundred has produced five finals and four different champions since its launch in 2021.

Oval Invincibles (new name: MI London) won the first two editions, Southern Brave finally lifted the trophy in 2023, London Spirit became champions in 2024, and Northern Superchargers (now officially renamed Sunrisers Leeds) claimed their maiden title in 2025.

Southern Brave have been the competition’s most frequent finalists, appearing in three championship matches.

As the 2026 tournament reaches its knockout stage, here is a recap of every Women’s Hundred champion so far.

2021: Oval Invincibles Win Inaugural Title

Oval Invincibles defeated Southern Brave by 48 runs in the first Women’s Hundred final.

The Invincibles posted 121/6 before bowling Brave out for just 73. Marizanne Kapp produced the decisive performance, scoring 26 before taking 4/9 with the ball. Dane van Niekerk also contributed 26.

Kapp was named Player of the Match as Oval Invincibles became the competition’s first champions.

Final: Oval Invincibles 121/6 beat Southern Brave 73 by 48 runs.

2022: Oval Invincibles Retain the Trophy

The same teams returned to the final a year later, but the contest was much closer. Southern Brave made 101/7 before Oval Invincibles chased the target with six balls remaining, finishing on 105/5. Kapp again played a central role, remaining unbeaten on 37 from 33 balls to guide the defending champions home.

The victory made Oval Invincibles the first – and so far only – team to win consecutive Women’s Hundred titles.

Final: Oval Invincibles 105/5 beat Southern Brave 101/7 by five wickets.

2023: Southern Brave Finally Become Champions

After losing the first two finals, Southern Brave ended their wait for the trophy in 2023. Brave scored 139/6 against Northern Superchargers before dismissing them for 105 to complete a 34-run victory. Danni Wyatt-Hodge led the batting with 59 from 38 deliveries, while Kalea Moore and Lauren Bell claimed three wickets each.

The victory was also a memorable farewell for captain Anya Shrubsole.

Final: Southern Brave 139/6 beat Northern Superchargers 105 by 34 runs.

    2024: London Spirit Win Thriller

London Spirit became first-time champions after beating Welsh Fire by four wickets in a tense final.

Welsh Fire posted 115/8, with Jess Jonassen scoring 54.

London Spirit reached 118/6 from 98 balls, completing the chase with only two deliveries remaining.

Georgia Redmayne contributed 29, while Deepti Sharma played a crucial role late in the chase, including a six during the closing stages.

Final: London Spirit 118/6 beat Welsh Fire 115/8 by four wickets.

2025: Northern Superchargers Claim Maiden Crown

Northern Superchargers secured their first title by defeating Southern Brave in the 2025 final. Brave made 115/6 before Superchargers completed a comfortable chase, reaching 119/3 in only 88 balls.

Nicola Carey remained unbeaten on 35 from 25 deliveries as Northern Superchargers won by seven wickets with 12 balls remaining.

The triumph made them the fourth different champion in five editions.

Final: Northern Superchargers 119/3 beat Southern Brave 115/6 by seven wickets.

Who Can Become Champion in 2026?

Trent Rockets finished top of the 2026 league stage after winning seven of their eight matches and collecting 28 points. Their strong campaign earned them direct qualification for the final.

Sunrisers Leeds and Southern Brave will meet in the Eliminator at The Oval on August 14, with the winner advancing to face Trent Rockets.

For Southern Brave, it is another opportunity to add a second title after their 2023 success. Sunrisers Leeds are chasing a place in the final under their new identity, while Trent Rockets are looking to become the fifth different champion in six seasons.

Five editions have already produced four winners, and the 2026 tournament is now ready to add another chapter to the history of the Women’s Hundred.
