Australian all-rounder Heather Graham has announced her engagement to partner Rachel Amanda through a heartfelt post on Instagram.

The personal news arrived during the sixth edition of the Women’s Hundred, where Graham has continued to contribute for Welsh Fire while celebrating an important milestone away from the field.

The 28-year-old shared the announcement with followers on her personal account, receiving warm messages from teammates, franchises and supporters.

    Graham Celebrates Personal Milestone

Graham’s engagement adds a special chapter to a career largely defined by her consistency across domestic and franchise competitions.

Although she has made only a limited number of international appearances for Australia, the all-rounder has built a strong reputation through performances in the Women’s Big Bash League, the Women’s Premier League and The Hundred.

Her social media announcement offered supporters a glimpse into her life away from cricket as she celebrated the occasion with Rachel Amanda.

    Limited International Opportunities for Australia

Graham made her ODI debut for Australia against Sri Lanka in Brisbane on October 7, 2019.

Her T20I debut followed against India at the DY Patil Stadium on December 11, 2022.

She has since represented Australia in five T20 Internationals and one ODI, with opportunities at international level remaining limited because of the considerable competition within the national squad.

Despite that, Graham has remained a highly respected and dependable performer in franchise cricket.

Strong Record in the Women’s Big Bash League

Graham has been a regular presence in the Women’s Big Bash League, representing Perth Scorchers and Hobart Hurricanes.

Across 149 matches, she has scored 1,594 runs from 117 innings at an average of 17.32 and a strike rate of 103.37. Her batting record includes two half-centuries.

She has been even more influential with the ball, taking 157 wickets from 141 innings at an average of 21.43 and an economy rate of 7.21.

Her best bowling performance in the competition is a four-wicket haul, underlining her value as a reliable medium-pacer capable of contributing in different phases of an innings.

    Important Performer in The Hundred

Graham has also established herself as an effective player in The Hundred. She has represented Trent Rockets, Sunrisers Leeds – formerly Northern Superchargers – and Welsh Fire across different editions of the competition.

Graham began her Welsh Fire career with a remarkable performance on July 22, 2026.

She claimed 4 for 19 from her full allocation of 20 deliveries, immediately demonstrating her importance to the team’s attack.

Another major performance followed against Southern Brave on August 3.

Graham remained unbeaten on 35 from 28 balls and delivered an influential all-round display that earned her the Player of the Match award.

Those performances have reinforced her reputation as a dependable franchise player capable of influencing matches in multiple disciplines.

    Personal Authenticity Alongside Professional Success

The engagement announcement provides a reminder of the person behind Graham’s performances. Her public celebration with Rachel Amanda was warmly received and reflected the supportive environment that has developed around women’s cricket.

As the sport continues to grow, players are increasingly able to share personal milestones while building successful careers across international and franchise competitions.

For Graham, the announcement arrives during another busy summer in which she continues to make important contributions for Welsh Fire.

Her engagement adds a joyful off-field moment to a career already marked by resilience, adaptability and consistent performances across some of the world’s leading women’s cricket leagues.
