The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) brought its three-week High Performance Camp to a close at the BKC facility, marking the occasion with a ceremony that recognised the efforts and development of the participating young cricketers.
The camp featured top players from multiple age-group categories, offering them a platform to train in a competitive setup while working on technical skills, fitness, discipline and overall game awareness. The programme reflects MCA’s continued emphasis on strengthening its grassroots system and building a pathway for emerging talent.
Senior Figures Attend Closing Ceremony
The closing event was attended by former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar, MCA president Ajinkya Naik, CIC chairman and former India fast bowler Raju Kulkarni, MCA secretary Unmesh Khanvilkar, treasurer Arman Mallick, executive secretary C.S. Naik, and other dignitaries. Players who delivered standout performances during the camp were also honoured during the ceremony.
Addressing the participants, Naik said: “The future of Mumbai cricket lies in the hands of our young players, and initiatives like this High Performance Camp are designed to provide them with the right exposure, guidance and environment to succeed. It is encouraging to see the level of talent and commitment displayed by these youngsters. MCA remains committed to building a strong foundation for the next generation of Mumbai cricketers.”
