The Hundred Women’s 2026 season provided Indian cricket fans with plenty to follow as four Indian players represented three different franchises. Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh all played important roles for their respective teams, although their campaigns ended at different stages.

From Deepti’s outstanding bowling to Mandhana’s record-breaking knock, the Indian players in The Hundred 2026 produced several memorable performances.

    Deepti Sharma: Joint-Top Wicket-Taker

Deepti Sharma was arguably the most impactful Indian player in the competition. Representing Sunrisers Leeds Women, she played 10 matches and scored 114 runs, with a highest score of 23.

Her biggest contribution came with the ball. Deepti picked up 13 wickets, making her the joint-leading wicket-taker of the tournament. Her best figures were 2/18, while her economy rate was around 1.12 runs per ball.

Her accurate off-spin proved valuable during the middle phase of innings. She regularly restricted scoring and created pressure with changes in flight and pace.

Deepti was also important during Sunrisers Leeds’ run to The Hundred final, producing a disciplined spell in the Eliminator against Southern Brave. Her fielding added further value, with two impressive catches among her standout moments.

    Jemimah Rodrigues: Reliable Performer

Jemimah Rodrigues had an excellent campaign for Southern Brave Women. She played seven matches and scored 186 runs in seven innings at an average of 37.20 and a strike rate of 134.78.

Her highest score was an unbeaten 42. Jemimah played a key role during Southern Brave’s five-match winning streak and regularly provided stability in the middle order.

One of her best performances came against MI London, where she scored 32 off 22 balls to help Southern Brave secure a thrilling one-run victory. She also finished unbeaten on 42 against Sunrisers Leeds and made an unbeaten 28 against Birmingham Phoenix.

Southern Brave eventually reached the Eliminator, with Jemimah among their most dependable batters.

    Smriti Mandhana: Record Breaking 88

Smriti Mandhana represented Manchester Super Giants Women after making the move from Southern Brave. She played seven matches and scored 172 runs at an average of 28.66 and a strike rate of 138.70.

Her best performance came against Sunrisers Leeds at Headingley. Mandhana smashed an unbeaten 88 off just 52 balls, including a rapid fifty from 33 balls. The innings became her highest individual score in Hundred history and helped Manchester complete a five-wicket chase with four balls remaining.

She also scored 34 off 27 balls against MI London and finished as Manchester’s leading run-scorer.

Richa Ghosh: Finishing and Wicketkeeping Role

Richa Ghosh also played for Manchester Super Giants. She scored 62 runs in six innings, with a highest score of 15 and a strike rate of 114.81.

Her best contribution came in the opening match when she smashed 15 off only five balls, including two sixes. However, limited opportunities in the middle overs meant she struggled to build consistency with the bat.

Behind the stumps, Richa made a useful contribution, completing five dismissals, including four catches and one stumping.

    Overall Performance

The four Indian players made different contributions during The Hundred Women’s 2026. Deepti stood out with her 13 wickets, Jemimah provided consistency, Mandhana produced the tournament’s standout Indian batting innings with 88 not out, while Richa contributed as a wicketkeeper and finisher.

Together, they ensured that Indian cricket had a strong presence throughout the competition, with each player gaining valuable experience in one of the world’s leading women’s franchise tournaments.
