    The Asian Cricket Council has announced the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 schedule, with the 10th edition of the tournament set to take place in the United Arab Emirates from August 28 to September 13. The entire T20I tournament will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with India and Pakistan set to meet in one of the biggest matches of the group stage on September 5.

    Eight teams will compete for the continental title, with the sides divided into two groups of four. The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals before the final on September 13.

    Women’s Asia Cup 2026 Groups

    India, Pakistan, Thailand and Hong Kong, China form Group A, while defending champions Sri Lanka are placed in Group B alongside Bangladesh, hosts UAE and Indonesia.

    India will enter the competition as seven-time champions and will be looking to reclaim the trophy after losing to Sri Lanka in the 2024 final. Sri Lanka, meanwhile, will attempt to defend their title and continue their strong record in the competition.

    Indonesia will make their official Women’s Asia Cup debut after qualifying through the ACC pathway tournament.

    India vs Pakistan Women’s Asia Cup 2026

    The biggest fixture in India’s group will be the India vs Pakistan Women’s Asia Cup 2026 clash on September 5. The match will begin at 8:00 PM IST at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

    India will first begin their campaign against Thailand on August 30 before facing Hong Kong, China on September 3. Their final group match against Pakistan could have a major impact on the final group standings.

    The rivalry between India and Pakistan is always one of the most watched fixtures in women’s cricket, and the Dubai setting is expected to create another major occasion.

    Women’s Asia Cup 2026 Fixtures

    The tournament will begin on August 28 with Thailand taking on Hong Kong, China. Sri Lanka will face UAE on August 29, followed by India’s opening match against Thailand on August 30.

    The group stage will continue until September 8, with the semi-finals scheduled for September 10 and 11. Semi-Final 1 will feature the Group A table topper against the Group B second placed team, while Semi-Final 2 will see Group B’s top team face Group A’s second placed side.

    The Women’s Asia Cup 2026 final will take place on September 13 at 8:00 PM IST.
