India Women will face Pakistan Women in one of the biggest matches of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 on Saturday, September 5. The Group A clash will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with the match scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM IST.

The India Women vs Pakistan Women Asia Cup 2026 contest is Match 9 of the tournament and could play an important role in determining the semi final positions. Both teams will be looking for a strong performance in a high pressure encounter.

India Women vs Pakistan Women Match Details

Match: India Women vs Pakistan Women, Group A

    Date: Saturday, September 5, 2026

    Time: 8:00 PM IST

Venue: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai

    Format: T20 International

India enter the contest with a strong record against their neighbours in T20I cricket. They have won 12 of their 15 meetings against Pakistan, while Pakistan have recorded three victories.

India also won their most recent meeting by seven wickets, giving them a psychological advantage ahead of the Dubai clash.

IND W vs PAK W 2026 Key Players

India will have several experienced players to rely on, with Harmanpreet Kaur leading the side. Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma will be important at the top of the order and could determine how quickly India starts their innings.

Deepti Sharma is another major player for India. Her ability to contribute with both bat and ball makes her particularly valuable on slower Dubai pitches. Radha Yadav could also play an important role with her left arm spin during the middle overs.

Pakistan will look towards Fatima Sana, Muneeba Ali, Sidra Amin and Nida Dar for important contributions. Fatima Sana could have a major role with the new ball, while Nashra Sandhu’s left arm spin could challenge India’s batters during the middle overs.

    Dubai Pitch and Weather Conditions

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium generally provides reasonable assistance to the new ball during night matches before becoming slower as the innings progresses.

Spinners could become increasingly important in the middle overs, particularly if the pitch loses some pace. There could also be a small amount of evening dew, which may encourage the captain winning the toss to bowl first.

The ability to rotate the strike and avoid losing wickets during the middle overs could be crucial.

India Women vs Pakistan Women Live Streaming

Fans in India can watch the India Women vs Pakistan Women live streaming on Sony LIV, while the match will also be televised on the Sony Sports Network.

In Pakistan, the match will be available on PTV Sports and Ten Sports, with streaming options including Tapmad and Tamasha. Viewers in the UAE and other MENA territories can follow the contest through Starzplay and CricLife.

Selected international territories will also have access through ICC.tv.

    A Major Asia Cup Clash

The IND W vs PAK W 2026 encounter promises to be one of the biggest group stage matches of the Women’s Asia Cup. India will start as the favourites based on their head-to-head record, but Pakistan have enough quality to make the contest competitive.

With semi final qualification at stake, both teams will know the importance of getting their tactics right from the opening ball. The Dubai conditions, spin battle and performances from the top order could ultimately decide which side comes out on top.
