    Pakistan Women registered a dominant 153-run victory over Zimbabwe in the first T20I of the three-match series at the National Bank Stadium, setting multiple team and individual records in the process.

    Opting to bat first, captain Fatima Sana’s decision proved effective as Pakistan posted 237/5 in 20 overs, their highest total in Women’s T20 Internationals. The score surpassed their previous best of 181/4 against South Africa in 2024.

    Ayesha Zafar led the charge with a standout unbeaten 102 off 47 balls, striking 15 fours and two sixes. She was supported by Aliya Riaz, who made 48, Gull Feroza with 37, and Fatima Sana, who remained unbeaten on 21.

    Zimbabwe Bowled Out for 84

    In response, Zimbabwe struggled against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack and were dismissed for 84 in 18.2 overs, marking their third-lowest total in the format.
