Alyssa Healy signed off from ODI cricket in spectacular fashion, blasting 158 off just 98 deliveries in her final appearance in the format, while Beth Mooney struck an unbeaten century as Australia piled up 409 for 7 in Hobart. The commanding performance sealed a 185-run win over India and ensured Australia cannot be overtaken in the multi-format series ahead of the concluding Test in Perth.
Despite managing a calf concern during her innings, which she attributed to “getting old”, Healy delivered one of the defining knocks of her career. The opener hammered 27 boundaries and two sixes in a breathtaking display. Her innings made her only the sixth woman — and just the second Australian — to register two 150-plus scores in Women’s ODIs. She also recorded the second-fastest 150 in the format, reaching the milestone in 95 balls.
The 158 stands as:
- The highest individual score in a Women’s ODI on Australian soil
- The highest Women’s ODI score against India anywhere
- A rare farewell century, with Healy joining Johmari Logtenberg as the only women to score a hundred in their final ODI
Mooney, meanwhile, produced a fluent unbeaten hundred from the middle order as Australia pushed for a 3-0 sweep in the ODI leg of the series against India.

In her last ODI outing, Healy registered her eighth century in the format. That tally brings her level with Karen Rolton for the second-most Women’s ODI hundreds by an Australian, with only Meg Lanning ahead.
Mooney also strengthened her standing among Australia’s leading century-makers.

Healy’s 158 is also the fifth-highest individual score by a captain in Women’s ODI cricket. Belinda Clark remains the only captain to have scored a double hundred in the format.
Australia’s 409 for 7 from 50 overs — after being sent in — set a new benchmark for the highest Women’s ODI total recorded in Australia, surpassing their previous 29-year-old mark against Pakistan in Melbourne.
India Fall Short in Pursuit of 410
Alongside Healy’s farewell masterclass, Mooney contributed 106 from 84 balls, while Georgia Voll added a brisk 62. Nicola Carey provided late impetus with an unbeaten 34 off 15 deliveries.
Chasing 410 to avoid a 3-0 ODI series defeat, India were unable to mount a record pursuit and were bowled out for 224, handing Australia a comprehensive 185-run victory in Hobart.
