New Zealand all-rounder Brooke Halliday reached a significant career milestone at University Oval in Dunedin, making her 100th international appearance during the third ODI against Zimbabwe on 11 March 2026.

Batting at number five in the first innings, the 30-year-old contributed a steady 40 off 40 deliveries, striking three boundaries and a six, as the White Ferns posted 303/6 in their allotted 50 overs. The hosts then bowled out Zimbabwe for 103 in the 28th over of the chase, sealing a comprehensive 200-run win and completing a dominant 3-0 sweep in the ODI series under captain Amelia Kerr against Nomvelo Sibanda’s side.

Halliday’s composed effort on her milestone appearance concluded a series in which she finished as the top run-scorer with 204 runs from three innings, including a century. The ODI success also followed New Zealand’s clean sweep in the preceding three-match T20I series, where they defeated Zimbabwe 3-0 between 25 February and 11 March 2026.

Her most memorable contribution in the series came during the first ODI on 5 March 2026, also played at University Oval. Batting at number four, Halliday delivered an outstanding unbeaten 157* from 118 balls. The innings, which included 24 boundaries and a six, helped New Zealand reach 354/3 and set up a 180-run victory. The Player of the Match performance highlighted her growing importance within the team’s batting line-up.

Halliday began her international career with an ODI debut against England in Christchurch on 23 February 2021. In 50 ODIs, she has accumulated 1,301 runs across 44 innings at an average of 33.35 and a strike rate of 78.89, registering eight half-centuries, one hundred, and a highest score of 157*. With the ball, her spin has brought eight wickets in 18 innings at an average of 36.12 and an economy rate of 5.55.

She made her T20I debut against England in Wellington on 3 March 2021. In the format, Halliday has scored 442 runs from 37 innings at an average of 14.25 and a strike rate of 97.35, with a career-best of 46*. Her bowling record includes eight wickets in 12 innings at an average of 14.12 and an economy of 6.77.

Now aged 30, Halliday’s 100th cap represents another notable step in her international journey. With New Zealand preparing for future challenges, her continued all-round contributions remain an important asset for the White Ferns.
