Famous Brazilian fighter Carlos Prates and the international betting company 1xBet have signed an official partnership agreement. This powerful alliance between a recognised brand and one of the brightest Latin American athletes marks a significant event in the worlds of mixed martial arts and the gambling industry.

Carlos Prates has rapidly burst onto the UFC scene and quickly won over fans thanks to his aggressive style and dominant presence in the octagon. The Brazilian fighter prefers to strike and finish opponents early with devastating punches: he has recorded 6 knockouts in 7 welterweight bouts. Prates is also the only fighter in UFC history to achieve four consecutive one-punch finishes. Thanks to his intimidating reputation and high knockout rate, Carlos earned the nickname The Nightmare.

The mutually beneficial partnership with 1xBet will help Prates develop his personal brand and promote the Latin American school of mixed martial arts worldwide.

“It is a great honour for me to represent my home region in the UFC. I feel the support of the people and know that I fight for them just as much as I fight for myself. I would like to thank 1xBet for their trust and belief in my potential. There is a lot of work ahead, and we are determined to go all the way to the championship belt,” said Carlos Prates.

Over the years, 1xBet has built a strong international presence across numerous markets and gained extensive experience working with top sports organisations and athletes. The partnership with Carlos Prates is not only a step toward developing its MMA direction but also a reflection of the brand’s global strategy to expand its influence and strengthen its position in key regions. Such initiatives showcase 1xBet’s commitment to being closer to its audience through sports, technology, and prominent ambassador collaborations.

“We view this partnership as a long-term project and one of the key drivers of brand development in Latin America. We are confident that the combination of our leading product in the market, advanced digital audience engagement tools, and the strength of Carlos’s personal brand will take 1xBet to a new level in the region.

Our goal is to help Carlos fully realise his potential on the global UFC stage. Latin America deserves new champions, and we believe Carlos can become one of them,” said 1xBet strategic advisor Simon Westbury.

In the future, 1xBet plans to continue investing in outstanding, successful athletes who inspire millions of fans and raise sports entertainment to new heights of emotion and spectacle.
