Pakistan Drop Sidra Amin for Zimbabwe T20Is have made notable changes to their squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, leaving out Sidra Amin while recalling Iram Javed.
Sidra Amin has instead been named among the five reserves, alongside Diana Baig, Momina Riasat, Sadaf Shamas and Syeda Aroob Shah.
New Faces and Returns
Iram Javed returns to the national setup having last featured during the 2024 T20 World Cup in the UAE. The selectors have also handed a maiden call-up to uncapped seamer Amber Kainat.
Kainat earned her place after an impressive showing in the National Women’s T20 Tournament, where she claimed 11 wickets in eight matches for Invincibles. She replaces Humna Bilal, who debuted earlier this year on the South Africa tour and picked up two wickets in two matches at an economy rate of 9.18.
Uncapped batter Saira Jabeen has retained her spot after also being part of the squad that toured South Africa.
