Cricket fans in India will be able to enjoy every match of The Hundred 2026 after JioStar secured the tournament’s exclusive broadcasting rights. The new agreement marks a major step in expanding the competition’s reach in India and strengthens JioStar’s growing sports portfolio. JioStar The Hundred broadcast rights deal covers both television and digital platforms, ensuring fans have multiple ways to follow the action.

Previously held by Sony Pictures Networks India, the rights have now moved to JioStar through a sublicensing agreement. The company will broadcast all 68 matches from both the men’s and women’s competitions.

The Hundred India TV Rights Confirmed

Under the new agreement, The Hundred India TV rights belong exclusively to the Star Sports Network. Every match of the 2026 edition will be shown live across Star Sports television channels in India.

This means viewers can watch the complete tournament, including league stage matches, the eliminator, and the finals, without missing any action. The competition runs from July 21 to August 16, with the finals taking place at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground.

The Hundred Live Streaming India Available on JioHotstar

Fans who prefer watching cricket on mobile devices or smart televisions can enjoy The Hundred live streaming in India exclusively through JioHotstar.

The platform will stream all 68 matches live, covering both men’s and women’s competitions throughout the tournament. This gives viewers the flexibility to watch matches from anywhere while following one of the most exciting short-format competitions in world cricket.

The addition of The Hundred further strengthens JioHotstar’s growing collection of cricket events available for Indian audiences.

    Why the Deal Is Important

JioStar The Hundred broadcast rights agreement comes at a time when interest in the tournament is growing rapidly in India. One major reason is the increasing involvement of Indian business groups in The Hundred franchises.

Several teams now have strong links with Indian Premier League owners. MI London is part of the Mumbai Indians network, Manchester Super Giants is connected with Lucknow Super Giants, and SunRisers Leeds has joined the expanding SunRisers family.

These ownership changes have created greater interest among Indian cricket fans, making the tournament more appealing than ever before.

    Indian Players Add More Excitement

The women’s competition is expected to attract significant viewership thanks to the presence of Indian stars. Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh represent Manchester Super Giants, while Deepti Sharma plays for SunRisers Leeds. Jemimah Rodrigues is also among the Indian players featuring in the tournament.

Their participation gives Indian fans even more reasons to follow the competition closely throughout the season.

Big Boost for Cricket Coverage in India

The acquisition of The Hundred India TV rights and The Hundred live streaming in India strengthens JioStar’s position as one of the country’s leading sports broadcasters. Alongside major events such as the IPL and ICC tournaments, The Hundred now becomes another important addition to its cricket coverage.

With every match available on Star Sports and JioHotstar, Indian fans can enjoy complete coverage of The Hundred 2026. The combination of exclusive broadcasting rights, growing Indian franchise involvement, and the presence of leading Indian women’s cricketers is expected to make this one of the tournament’s most watched editions in the country.
