The 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England produced some unforgettable moments as batters and bowlers pushed the game to new heights. The tournament saw more 200-plus team totals than ever before, while Australia lifted the trophy after defeating England in the final at Lord’s.

Several players delivered match-winning displays, but a few stood above the rest. Here are the greatest individual performances Women’s World Cup fans will remember for years.

    1. Danni Wyatt-Hodge’s Unbeaten 105 Against Sri Lanka

England opener Danni Wyatt-Hodge set the tone for the tournament with a sensational unbeaten century in the opening match against Sri Lanka.

Just weeks after welcoming her daughter Daisy, Wyatt-Hodge returned to international cricket in remarkable fashion. She smashed an unbeaten 105 to lead England to 219 for 1, which became the highest team total in Women’s T20 World Cup history at the time before Australia later matched it.

Her innings combined power with consistency as she found boundaries all around the ground. More importantly, it gave England the perfect start to their home campaign.

Wyatt-Hodge finished the tournament as the leading run-scorer with 302 runs, becoming the first batter to cross the 300-run mark in a single Women’s T20 World Cup. That incredible achievement makes her knock one of the best player performances Women’s T20 history has seen.

    2. Beth Mooney’s Match-Winning 64 in the Final

Australia once again relied on Beth Mooney when the stakes were highest.

Chasing 151 against hosts England in the final at Lord’s, Mooney played a calm and composed innings of 64 from 49 balls. She struck 10 boundaries while guiding Australia through a tricky chase under pressure.

It was another reminder of her ability to perform in major finals. Before the title clash, she had also scored an unbeaten 61 in the semi-final against the West Indies.

Her consistency throughout the knockout stage earned her both the Player of the Match award in the final and the Player of the Tournament honour.

Among the greatest individual performances in Women’s World Cup, Mooney’s final innings ranks highly because it directly helped Australia reclaim the title.

    3. Deepti Sharma’s Brilliant Five-Wicket Haul

While the tournament was dominated by big scores, India’s Deepti Sharma reminded everyone that bowlers could still make a huge impact.

The experienced all-rounder produced outstanding figures of 5 for 10, the five-wicket haul recorded during the match against Pakistan.

Her spell showcased excellent control, clever variations, and accurate spin bowling. Deepti consistently troubled batters during the middle overs and completely changed the course of the match with her outstanding performance.

On batting-friendly pitches where bowlers often struggled, Deepti’s spell stood out as one of the finest bowling displays of the competition.

    Honourable Mention

South Africa’s Tazmin Brits also deserves recognition after smashing an unbeaten 114 during the group stage. It was the highest individual score of the tournament and helped her finish among the leading run-scorers.

The 2026 Women’s World Cup edition delivered some unforgettable cricket, but these three performances remain the standout moments. Whether it was Wyatt-Hodge’s record-breaking century, Mooney’s match-winning final knock, or Deepti’s magical spell, each deserves a place among the best player performances in Women’s T20 cricket and the greatest individual performances in Women’s World Cup history.
