The BCA Kalahari Women’s T20I Tournament returns for its third edition from April 6 to 11, 2026, bringing together emerging talent in women’s cricket under the Botswana sun. Seven teams — Sierra Leone, Brazil, Lesotho, Malawi, Botswana, Zambia, and Mozambique — will compete in a week-long contest that continues to highlight the sport’s expansion across Africa. The tournament follows Rwanda’s victory in 2024 and Sierra Leone’s title-winning campaign in 2025.

Sierra Leone arrive as defending champions aiming to retain their crown, while hosts Botswana will look to convert previous near-misses into a breakthrough title on home soil, having finished runners-up in both earlier editions. With several developing sides in the mix, the competition sets the stage for closely fought matches and key moments across the tournament.

    Format

The tournament will be played in the T20I format, with all seven teams competing in a round-robin stage where each side meets the others. The top two teams at the end of the league phase will advance to the final on April 11, 2026, where the title will be decided.
