India fast bowler Arundhati Reddy has been named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for February 2026 following her impressive performances in the T20I series against Australia. Her consistent seam bowling played a key role in India securing a 2-1 series victory on Australian soil.

Reddy, who was part of the Indian side that won the Women’s ODI World Cup last year, delivered a standout display throughout the three-match series Down Under. She finished as the leading wicket-taker with eight wickets across the contests.

Her best performance came in the opening match in Sydney, where she recorded career-best figures of 4 for 22 in a winning effort. She followed this with figures of 2 for 30 in the second T20I in Canberra, maintaining her influence on the series.

In the deciding third match in Adelaide, Reddy returned figures of 2 for 35, including the crucial dismissal of Ashleigh Gardner, who top-scored for Australia with 57. Over the course of the series, the Indian pacer maintained an average of 10.87 and an economy rate of 7.25.

“It’s a real honour to be named ICC Player of the Month and even more special knowing I was able to contribute to a T20I series win in Australia,” Arundhati Reddy said. “Beating Australia on their home turf is never easy, which makes this award even more meaningful.”

“This series win has given our team a huge boost of confidence as we build towards the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England and Wales this summer. We’ve got a well-balanced squad and I believe we’ll be a team to watch.”

Reddy beat Sri Lanka’s Harshitha Samarawickrama and Pakistan’s Fatima Sana, who were also shortlisted for the February award. The winner was determined through a voting process involving global fans registered on the ICC website along with a specialist panel that included former international cricketers and media representatives.
