Stafanie Taylor added another major milestone to her remarkable career on October 7, 2026, becoming only the fourth woman in T20I history to combine 3,000-plus runs with 100 wickets.
The 35-year-old achieved the feat during West Indies’ eight-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the third T20I at Takashinga Sports Club in Harare, helping the visitors complete a 3-0 series sweep.
Taylor also earned Player of the Match honours after contributing with both bat and ball.
Taylor Reaches 100 T20I Wickets
Taylor entered the series finale just one wicket short of the landmark and reached it almost immediately. She finished with superb figures of 2/8 from four overs, dismissing Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano and Chiedza Dhururu as Zimbabwe were restricted to 142/6.
Her 100th T20I wicket placed her alongside Sophie Devine, Esha Oza and Hayley Matthews as the only women to have scored more than 3,000 runs and taken at least 100 wickets in the format.
Taylor is also the fourth West Indies woman to reach 100 T20I wickets after Matthews, Anisa Mohammed and Afy Fletcher.
Unbeaten 64 Seals the Chase
Taylor then completed an outstanding all-round performance with the bat.
Coming in at No. 3, she struck an unbeaten 64 from 39 balls, hitting 11 boundaries as West Indies chased down 143 with eight wickets and 18 deliveries remaining.
Her innings provided both stability and acceleration, ensuring Zimbabwe were unable to force their way back into the contest.
A Career Built on Consistency
Taylor made her international debut in 2008 and has remained one of West Indies’ most reliable all-round performers for nearly two decades. Across 142 T20Is, she has taken 101 wickets at an average of 16.74 and an economy rate of 5.60.
With the bat, Taylor has scored 3,740 runs in 138 innings at an average of 35.28, including 23 half-centuries.
Her best T20I bowling figures remain 4/12 against South Africa in the 2018 Women’s T20 World Cup, where she helped West Indies secure a 31-run victory.
Return to Bowling Strengthens Her All-round Role
One of the most notable aspects of Taylor’s achievement is that she went several years without bowling regularly in T20Is.
She did not bowl in the format between July 2021 and March 2026 before returning to the attack against Sri Lanka.
Since then, her off-spin has again become an important part of West Indies’ plans, adding further value to a player already established as one of the team’s most experienced batters.
West Indies Complete Dominant Zimbabwe Tour
The milestone came at the end of West Indies’ first bilateral white-ball tour of Zimbabwe.
The visitors won the ODI series 2-1 before completing a clean sweep in the T20Is.
Taylor’s all-round display in the final match provided a fitting conclusion to the tour, while Jahzara Claxton was named Player of the T20I Series.
A Rare All-round Milestone
Taylor’s latest record reinforces her status as one of the most complete players in women’s T20 cricket.
Combining more than 3,000 runs with 100 wickets requires excellence across both disciplines and sustained performance over many years.
Even at 35, Taylor continues to influence matches with both bat and ball, adding another historic achievement to an already impressive international career.
