Brazil Women produced a dominant display to defeat Mozambique Women in the 18th match of the Kalahari Women’s T20I Tournament 2026, sealing a nine-wicket victory with 107 balls remaining in a one-sided contest.

After opting to bat, Mozambique Women struggled from the outset against a relentless Brazilian bowling attack and were bowled out for just 19 runs in 7.3 overs. The innings never gained momentum, with Rosalia Haiong the only batter to register a boundary, finishing with 4 runs.

    Boas and Monteiro dismantle Mozambique

Lindsay Boas led the charge with the ball, returning figures of 5 for 10 in 3.3 overs as she dismantled the middle and lower order. Nicole Monteiro provided strong support, claiming 3 wickets in her single over without conceding a run.

Brazil’s disciplined bowling ensured there was no recovery for Mozambique, with wickets falling consistently throughout the innings.

    Swift chase seals emphatic victory

Chasing a target of 20, Brazil Women completed the task quickly. Lindsay Boas was dismissed for 8 in the opening over, caught off Angelica Salomao, but the result was never in doubt.

Maria Silva remained unbeaten on 8, hitting a boundary to finish the chase, while Ana Sabino supported at the other end. Brazil reached 20 for 1 in just 2.1 overs, completing the chase in only 13 deliveries.

    Statement performance

The comprehensive victory underlined Brazil’s dominance in the tournament, with both their bowling and batting firing in unison. Mozambique, meanwhile, were left with little time to recover in a match that was decided rapidly.
