The league stage of the Women’s Caribbean Premier League 2026 has produced three teams for the knockout stage. Trinbago Knight Riders Women finished at the top of the table and earned a direct place in the final, while Guyana Amazon Warriors Women and Barbados Tridents Women secured the remaining knockout spots.
The Women’s CPL 2026 playoffs will therefore feature a three team knockout structure. Jamaica Empress Women finished fourth and were eliminated despite ending the league stage with the same number of points as Barbados Tridents Women.
Trinbago Knight Riders Women Finish First
Trinbago Knight Riders Women topped the Women’s CPL 2026 points table with four points from three matches. They won two games and lost one, but their excellent Net Run Rate of +1.016 gave them the advantage over Guyana Amazon Warriors Women, who also finished with four points.
By finishing first, Trinbago earned the biggest reward available in the tournament format. They have advanced directly to the final and will now wait for the winner of the playoff between Guyana Amazon Warriors Women and Barbados Tridents Women.
Guyana Amazon Warriors Women Take Second Place
Guyana Amazon Warriors Women finished second with four points from three matches. They also recorded two wins and one defeat, but their Net Run Rate of +0.475 was lower than Trinbago’s.
As a result, Guyana will have to play the playoff to secure their place in the final. They will face Barbados Tridents Women at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, with the winner moving forward to the championship match.
Barbados Tridents Women Secure Third Spot
Barbados Tridents Women completed the top three after collecting two points from three matches. They won one game and lost two, finishing with a Net Run Rate of -0.444.
Their third place finish means they have one opportunity to reach the final. They will face Guyana Amazon Warriors Women in the playoff, where the losing team will be eliminated from the competition.
Playing the knockout match at Kensington Oval also gives Barbados the opportunity to compete for a place in the final on home conditions.
Jamaica Empress Women Eliminated on Net Run Rate
Jamaica Empress Women finished fourth with two points, matching Barbados Tridents Women in wins, losses and total points. However, their Net Run Rate of -1.153 was considerably lower than Barbados’ -0.444.
This difference proved decisive in determining the final playoff lineup. Jamaica therefore missed out on the knockout stage despite collecting the same number of points as the third placed team.
