The third encounter of the five-match T20I series between New Zealand Women and South Africa Women will take place at Eden Park in Auckland. The hosts began the series on a strong note with a convincing victory, but South Africa responded emphatically in the second match thanks to some impressive bowling performances. Skipper Amelia Kerr will be eager for her side to bounce back and regain the upper hand. As the White Ferns prepare for the crucial clash, here are three players who could make a significant impact.

    Amelia Kerr
Captain and all-rounder Amelia Kerr remains one of New Zealand’s most dependable performers across departments. In her T20I career, she has accumulated 1,746 runs from 74 innings at a strike rate of 117, alongside claiming 101 wickets from 91 innings with an economy rate of 6. Kerr made a notable contribution in the series opener with a superb half-century. In the second match, she again played a key role by picking up two wickets and adding a useful 32 with the bat. Her all-round influence will be central to New Zealand’s plans in the upcoming contest.

    Jess Kerr
Seamer Jess Kerr has built a reputation for delivering disciplined spells and maintaining pressure through accurate lengths and clever variations. She has taken 32 wickets from 45 innings in her T20I career while maintaining an economy rate of 6. Her consistency has been evident in the ongoing series, where she claimed two wickets in each of the first two matches. With her ability to contain runs and break partnerships, she is expected to be a vital component of the bowling attack.

    Sophie Devine
Experienced all-rounder Sophie Devine continues to play an influential role with both bat and ball. Over her T20I career, she has scored 3,468 runs from 144 innings at a strike rate of 120 and has also taken 123 wickets from 125 innings with an economy rate of 6. Devine delivered an outstanding bowling performance in the opening match, finishing with figures of 4 for 12, and followed it up with a determined knock of 25 in the previous game. With her current form and experience, she will be one of the key figures New Zealand will rely on in the third T20I.
