The Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket Oval in Lagos will host the inaugural Nigeria Invitational Women’s T20I Tournament from March 20 to 27, 2026. Five teams — Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and South Africa Under-19 — are set to compete in what promises to be an exciting showcase of emerging talent and regional rivalry.
The week-long event is expected to deliver fast-paced T20I contests, with the competition concluding in a third-place play-off and the final on March 27. As women’s cricket continues to grow across the continent, the tournament offers players a platform to make an impression at the international level.
