India A booked a place in the semifinals of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 on Tuesday, with the Radha Yadav-led side finishing at the top of Group A.
The team sealed first place after beating Nepal by eight wickets in their final group fixture. However, India A still needed the outcome of the last Group A match — Pakistan A vs UAE — to confirm qualification.
UAE, the only unbeaten side in the group before that game, were beaten by nine wickets by Pakistan A. Led by Esha Oza, UAE were dismissed for 79, and Pakistan A completed the chase with nine overs remaining.
That result lifted Pakistan A’s Net Run-Rate (NRR) to 0.457 and allowed them to move ahead of UAE into second place, securing the group’s other semifinal berth.
India A, meanwhile, finished with a superior NRR of 3.042, ensuring they ended the group stage as table-toppers. After starting their campaign with a loss to UAE, India A responded with back-to-back wins over Pakistan A and Nepal.
The final Group B matches will be played on Wednesday and will determine the semifinal pairings, including India A and Pakistan A’s opponents in the knockouts.
