Result: Southern Brave 100/8 (100 balls) tied with Northern Superchargers 100/8 (100 balls)
The first-ever tie in Women’s Hundred history came during the 2024 season. Southern Brave posted a modest total of 100 after a disciplined bowling effort from the Northern Superchargers (new name – Sunrisers Leeds).
Defending a small target, England fast bowler Lauren Bell delivered a sensational spell, finishing with remarkable figures of 4 wickets for 11 runs. She almost guided Southern Brave to victory by picking up a wicket in the closing stages and bowling accurate yorkers under pressure.
Northern Superchargers needed three runs from the final ball. Kate Cross struck the ball towards long-on, and the batters completed two runs as the throw missed the stumps, securing a dramatic tie.
Lauren Bell was named Player of the Match for her outstanding performance.
2. London Spirit vs Oval Invincibles (August 4, 2024)
Venue: Lord’s, London
Result: London Spirit 113/9 (100 balls) tied with Oval Invincibles 113/8 (100 balls)
Just a few days later, another thrilling contest produced the second of the Women’s Hundred tied matches.
Marizanne Kapp starred with the ball for Oval Invincibles (new name – MI London), claiming 4 wickets for just 11 runs. Her spell triggered a remarkable collapse, with all of London Spirit’s top seven batters being bowled out, a unique achievement in franchise cricket.
Despite their batting struggles, London Spirit fought back brilliantly through disciplined bowling. Oval Invincibles were unable to score the winning runs from the final delivery, leaving both teams level on 113.
Kapp’s superb bowling performance earned her the Player of the Match award.
3. MI London vs London Spirit (July 29, 2026)
Venue: Kia Oval, London
Result: MI London 151/4 (100 balls) tied with London Spirit 151/5 (100 balls)
The most recent and highest-scoring tie came during the 2026 season.
MI London posted an impressive 151, thanks largely to Amelia Kerr’s unbeaten 49 and Chinelle Henry’s explosive 33 from only 12 balls.
London Spirit stayed in the chase through valuable knocks from Marie Kelly and Amy Jones before the match headed into a thrilling finish. Needing nine runs from the final five balls, Deandra Dottin produced a late assault to keep her side alive.
With three runs required from the last ball, Dottin struck into the leg side and sprinted back for two runs, helping London Spirit finish level on 151. Amelia Kerr and Deandra Dottin also shared the Player of the Match honours.
