Delhi and Railways booked their places in the Senior Women’s One Day Trophy 2025-26 final after registering victories in their respective Elite semifinals on Thursday. Delhi produced a commanding performance against Andhra, while Railways secured a hard-fought win over Chhattisgarh in a tightly contested second semifinal.

Delhi sealed a massive 199-run triumph over Andhra to advance to the title decider. The innings was built on a solid 124-run opening partnership between Priya Punia and Pragya Rawat, which provided the early platform. Shweta Sehrawat then accelerated the scoring with a blistering 113 off 73 deliveries. She also stitched together an important stand with Tanisha Singh as Delhi powered their way to 340 for four in 50 overs.

Andhra’s pursuit never gained stability. Wickets fell at regular intervals, and the side was eventually dismissed for 141, handing Delhi a comprehensive victory.

Railways Hold Nerve in Low-Scoring Encounter

The second semifinal saw Railways overcome Chhattisgarh in a lower-scoring contest. After losing Nuzhat Parween for a duck early on, Railways steadied through half-centuries from Arushi Goel and Bhavana Goplani. Their efforts guided the team to 173 for eight in their allotted 50 overs.

Chhattisgarh struggled to build partnerships during the chase and failed to gather momentum. The innings concluded at 146 in 49.5 overs, as Railways wrapped up a 27-run win to confirm their place in the final.
