London Spirit Women produced an impressive all-round performance to defeat Birmingham Phoenix Women by 32 runs in the 28th match of The Hundred Women’s Competition 2026 at Lord’s. After posting 140/4 from their 100 balls, London Spirit restricted Birmingham Phoenix to 108/8 to secure their second win of the season.
Marizanne Kapp was the standout performer, delivering an unbeaten half-century with the bat before contributing with the ball. Captain Charlie Dean also played a crucial role with three wickets as London Spirit controlled the game during the middle stages.

Davina Perrin attempted to rebuild the innings with 29 from 28 balls, but Dean struck again to remove her. The London Spirit captain eventually finished with excellent figures of 3/20 from her 20 balls.
Emma Lamb provided some resistance with a quick 36 from 26 balls, including two fours and a six. However, she did not receive enough support from the lower order.
Nadine de Klerk added two wickets to the bowling effort, while Charis Pavely and Hannah Rainey also claimed important wickets. Birmingham Phoenix eventually finished on 108/8 from their 100 balls.
