Captain Radha Yadav delivered a breathtaking all-round performance on Friday to lead India A into the final of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026. Facing Sri Lanka A in the first semifinal at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok, the defending champions secured a clinical five-wicket victory to move one step closer to retaining their title.

Radha, who was recently part of India’s 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup-winning squad, proved why she is the most experienced head in this developmental tournament. Her twin impact with both ball and bat left Sri Lanka A without answers.

    Semifinal 1: Match Highlights

    • Spin Dominance: After Sri Lanka A opted to bat first, they were stifled by India’s spin department. Radha Yadav spearheaded the attack with clinical figures of 4 for 19, supported by Tanuja Kanwer and Prema Rawat, who claimed two wickets apiece to bundle out the opposition for 118.
    • The Chase: India A’s pursuit began with an explosive start from opener Vrinda Dinesh, who hammered 42 runs off just 20 balls.
    • Captain’s Finish: Despite a mid-innings wobble that saw a few quick wickets fall, Radha Yadav returned to the middle to stabilize the ship. She smashed an unbeaten 31 off 18 deliveries, guiding India past the target in just 13.3 overs.

    The Road to the Championship

India A, who claimed the inaugural trophy in 2023 by defeating Bangladesh, has continued their dominant form this year despite an early group-stage hiccup against the UAE.
