East Delhi Riders Women defeated Central Delhi Queens by 19 runs in the Women’s Delhi Premier League 2026 after a strong batting display backed up by disciplined bowling.

East Delhi posted 174/2 from 20 overs, led by unbeaten half-centuries from Pragya and Simran Dil Bahadur. Central Delhi fought hard through Deeksha Sharma’s 86 but eventually finished on 155/7.

Pragya and Simran Build Match-Winning Stand

East Delhi lost Aarna Dudeja early for six, but Vanshika Lila kept the innings moving with 30 from 22 balls, including three fours and a six.

After Vanshika fell with the score on 56/2, Pragya and Simran took complete control.

Pragya anchored the innings with an unbeaten 70 from 55 balls, hitting eight fours.

At the other end, Simran provided the acceleration, smashing an unbeaten 60 from 36 deliveries with seven fours and one six.

Their unbeaten partnership carried East Delhi to a commanding 174/2.

Deeksha Sharma Keeps Queens in the Chase

Central Delhi’s response was driven by an outstanding innings from Deeksha Sharma.

She scored 86 from 51 balls, striking 10 fours and four sixes at a strike rate of 168.63.

Saachi contributed 17, while Arushi Goel made 22 and Monika added a quick 14, but the Queens struggled to maintain the required rate once wickets began to fall.

Despite Deeksha’s effort, Central Delhi could not produce another substantial partnership late in the innings.

Purva Siwach Stars With Four Wickets

Purva Siwach was the standout bowler for East Delhi, finishing with excellent figures of 4/24 from four overs.

Bharti Rawal took two wickets for 33 runs, while Simran completed a strong all-round performance by claiming 1/23 after her unbeaten 60.

Central Delhi eventually closed on 155/7, leaving East Delhi Riders with a deserved 19-run victory.

The result was built around Pragya and Simran’s unbeaten batting partnership, while Purva’s four-wicket spell ensured Deeksha Sharma’s brilliant 86 remained in a losing cause.
