China Women secured a six-wicket victory over Indonesia Women in the China Women’s T20I Tri-Series in Hangzhou on August 24, 2026.
After restricting Indonesia to 71/8 in 18 overs, China completed the chase with nine balls remaining, reaching 65/4 in 13.3 overs. Captain Mingyue Zhu stayed unbeaten to guide the hosts home.
Ma Ruike Strikes Early
Indonesia suffered a difficult start after Maria Corazon and Ni Luh Dewi were both dismissed for ducks inside the opening over.
Ma Ruike was responsible for the early damage, later adding the wicket of Desi Wulandari for 8.
Indonesia slipped to 12/3 before captain Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini began rebuilding the innings.
She top-scored with 20 from 24 balls, while Lie Qiao added an unbeaten 10 late in the innings.
China Bowlers Keep Indonesia to 71
China maintained pressure throughout the innings.
Ma Ruike finished with 2/6 from three overs, while Wang Huiying claimed 2/7 from four overs. Mingyue Zhu also picked up 2/17.
Indonesia eventually finished on 71/8, with no batter able to build a substantial innings.
China Build Solid Opening Stand
Wang Huiying and Wei Haiting gave China a useful start with a 36-run opening partnership.
Wang made 14 before being dismissed by Sang Maypriani, while Wei contributed 21 from 26 balls.
Indonesia then briefly fought back, reducing China to 54/4.
Mingyue Zhu Holds Her Nerve
Maypriani was the standout bowler for Indonesia, finishing with excellent figures of 3/8 from three overs.
However, Mingyue Zhu remained calm under pressure.
She finished unbeaten on 11 from 19 balls, while Gong Yuting added an unbeaten 6 to complete the chase.
The pair took China to the target without further loss, sealing a six-wicket victory with nine balls to spare.
China’s disciplined bowling and composed chase once again proved decisive, while Indonesia were left to rue their early batting collapse despite Maypriani’s strong spell.
