The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced that British music stars Rita Ora and Clean Banditwill headline the entertainment for the Women’s T20 World Cup closing ceremony and the post match celebrations during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 final.

The championship match will take place at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground on Sunday, July 5, 2026, with the ICC planning a full day of entertainment at cricket World Cup events to celebrate the conclusion of the tournament.

Rita Ora to headline the Women’s T20 World Cup closing ceremony

The Women’s T20 World Cup closing ceremony will begin before the start of the final, with global pop star Rita Ora performing live at 2:30 PM local time.

The ICC has advised fans attending the final to be seated by 2:00 PM to ensure they do not miss the opening performance. Rita Ora’s appearance is expected to create an exciting atmosphere before the two finalists walk onto the field for the biggest match of the tournament.

The performance reflects the ICC’s growing focus on combining world class cricket with live entertainment, making the tournament a memorable experience for fans both inside the stadium and watching around the world.

Clean Bandit to perform after the final

The celebrations will continue after the match as multi platinum electronic pop group Clean Bandit takes the stage following the trophy presentation.

The band will perform some of its biggest chart topping hits to celebrate the newly crowned Women’s T20 World Cup champions. Their concert is expected to serve as the grand finale of the tournament, adding another layer of entertainment at cricket World Cup events.

By featuring performances before and after the final, the ICC is aiming to create a festival like atmosphere around one of the biggest matches in women’s cricket.

Australia and England set for title clash

The entertainment announcement comes as excitement builds for the tournament finale.

Six time champions Australia have already secured their place in the final and will face tournament hosts England, who booked their spot after defeating South Africa in a thrilling semi final at The Oval.

With two of the strongest teams in women’s cricket competing for the trophy, the final is expected to attract a global audience.

    A tournament filled with entertainment

The Women’s T20 World Cup closing ceremony continues the entertainment theme that has been present throughout the competition.

The tournament opened on June 12 with a live performance by the West End cast of the hit musical Wicked, setting the tone for an event that combines elite cricket with major musical performances.

The addition of Rita Ora and Clean Bandit highlights the ICC’s effort to make women’s cricket one of the biggest sporting and entertainment events on the global calendar.

With Lord’s expected to be completely sold out, thousands of cricket fans and music lovers are set to enjoy a spectacular day. Between a high quality final featuring Australia and England, the Women’s T20 World Cup closing ceremony, and the post match concert by Clean Bandit, the event promises to deliver unforgettable entertainment at cricket World Cup while celebrating another landmark moment for women’s cricket.
